Not long after Lady Miramar left the Church because of Her disagreement with the premise, as stated in the Codex of Light, that in some cases it could be acceptable to sacrifice an innocent's life for the greater Good, She drifted into sleep. To this day, many of us long for Her return. For Her, this sonnet.
Light of Justice
Her gentle smile is pearlescent and bright,
Devoid of Vengeance' anger and dismay.
The sparkle in Her eyes brought subtle Light,
And warmed each soul inside. It was Her way
To balance with a right each single wrong,
But not to judge beyond a person's deeds,
Not whom he loved or where he made his home.
He'd only reap the harvest of his seeds.
But now a blanket lies over Her form
For She has drifted into healing sleep
Her niche within the Garden's soft and warm.
She may not ever wake from rest so deep.
We pray for Her to tread our roads again,
To shine the fairest Light on all of men.
